Glamorous bushveld wedding

“Create magic, glamour and romance” was the brief!

The dreamy setting of a woodcutting barn on a bushveld farm supplied magic and romance in abundance. Farm Design Events glamourised the evening with a glittering mix of crystal, silver and Mercury glass.

The bride provided peace-in-the-home and maidenhair ferns she had cultivated especially for her tables, and Mother Nature and the barn supplied the spiderweb and wood chips!

A curtain of fairy lights draped along one side of the barn, twinkling romance over the guests and carnival lights created an eclectic contrast to the rough rafters of the barn’s roof.

Decor details included rafia-tied name tags, silver candelabra, crystal candlestick, Mercury glass, opulent stargazers in wine bottles and crisp white banquet table linen.

Each table carried the name of the bride’s favourite birds: Wax bill, Bee Eater  and Shrike.
