A VIP dinner for 20 guests

Farm Design organized a really special dinner at Dorp for 20 VIP visitors to South Africa. Brigitte Walsh, of Wide Africa, brought the client and Pamela Mc Onie, the food connoisseur of Cape Town, gave a talk about the city and its food culture. Cape Town and Dorp, an ultra-exclusive boutique hotel perched on top of Signal Hill, hosted the dinner – a very special evening as Dorp doesn’t normally do events. The dinner was in the stylish and elegant salon, the food was delicious, and we served the best Cape wines!

We styled the decor to match the wonderfully whimsical Dorp Hotel. The floral arrangements, featuring contrasting vases in crystal and terracotta, included grasses, proteas, leucadendrons, and ranunculus. Fresh white linens and soft, frayed napkins in the palest pink, completed the setting.

Each guest received a surprise gift, wrapped in black and white striped paper and tied with raffia.

This was an exceptionally intimate affair with no photographers permitted.
