The zany fashion of American interior designer Iris Apfel inspired Farm Design Events’ Investec Women’s Forum Luncheon with Zyda Rylands. Never one to skimp on accessories, Apfel is known for her layered jewels, feather stoles and eclectic touches, and Farm Design Event’s theme emulated this using bold colours, feminine pinks, florals and retro handbags – creating a balanced blend of chic contemporary with retro touches.
The luncheon was all about being unusual, and the Apfel motif was enhanced with the addition of different fabrics and delicate swans.
